After the latest April 2023 Software update on Moto G Pure Android 12, the old FRP bypass method no longer works.
Now, we need a new trick to bypass the Google account verification on Motorola G Pure XT2163.
Google verification is required when you factory reset the Motorola device using Android Recovery. After the reset, you cannot reach the home screen until you verify with the lock screen Password/PIN/Pattern or the previously synced Google account.
Let’s use the latest June 2023 hack to bypass the Google FRP lock on Moto G Pure as follows –
I was locked on my Motorola phone. To bypass the Moto G Pure lock screen, I did a factory reset with the volume down & power keys via Android Recovery.
After the reset, it brings me to the “Hi There” screen as shown above.
Let’s begin the setup by hitting the “START” button.
Next, we need to connect our Moto G Pure to the internet.
It takes a while to get ready then we reach the “Copy apps & data” page.
Here, click “Don’t copy”.
The next screen is “Verify Password”. To move ahead I either need to verify with the lock screen Password/PIN/Pattern or the previously synced Google account.
I do not remember these details. Let’s use the latest June 2023 method to bypass the Google verification on Motorola G Pure without a PC as follows –
How to bypass Google account verification/FRP lock on Motorola G Pure XT2163 June 2023 latest security Update Android 12 without PC – Tracfone, MetroPCS, Boost Mobile, T-Mobile, Cricket, AT&T, Verizon
To bypass the Google lock, move back to the “START” screen with the back key.
Now, click on “Vision Settings” then “Talkback”.
Hit the “Use Talkback” button to enable Talkback.
When it turns on, draw an opposite L on the screen. Swipe towards the right then up as shown above.
A permission request appears – “Allow Android Accessibility Suite to record audio?”. Double-tap “While using this app”.
Another window appears. This time double-click on “Use voice commands”.
Now, say the term, Assistant.
The voice commands launches the Google Assistant app. Now, double-tap the keyboard icon at the bottom.
We need to type open youtube in the search box to launch the Youtube app.
Before doing that let’s turn off Talkback.
Press and hold both volume keys for 3 seconds to enable the Talkback shortcut.
Again press and hold the volume buttons for 3 seconds to disable Talkback.
Now, type open youtube in the search box and pick the search result to launch the youtube app.
On the Youtube screen, hit the “user profile icon” in the top-right corner.
Now, click on “Settings” > “About” as shown above.
On the following screen, select – “Youtube Terms of Service”.
Accept the Google Chrome terms and conditions to get access to the web browser’s search bar.
Now, type addrom bypass and pick the first search result as shown above.
Now, look for “Screen Smartlock” and click on it.
We have 3 options – Pattern, PIN, & Password.
Let’s choose the first option – “Pattern”.
Draw an easy pattern such as L.
Draw the same pattern again and hit “Confirm”.
Nothing happens.
Again draw the same pattern.
An error shows up – “Settings keeps stopping”. Click on “Close app”.
Again go back and select “Screen Smartlock” as shown above.
Pick the first option “Pattern” and draw the same pattern L.
Keep trying until you get the “Smart Lock On-body detection” option as shown above.
When this screen comes, click on “YES, I’M IN”.
The next screen says “ALL SET”. Click on “GOT IT”.
After setting the new pattern lock, let’s move back to the first page.
Hit the back button multiple times until you reach the “START” screen.
We are again on the first page.
Click “START” to move ahead.
Choose “Don’t copy” on the “Copy apps & data” screen.
The screen lock verification Password is now changed to a Pattern.
Draw the same Pattern L that we set earlier.
We bypassed the Google account verification on Motorola G Pure.
Use the “Skip” option to proceed further.
The next page is “Google Services”. Accept the Google services terms and conditions.
Again verify with the same pattern.
Now, skip the fingerprint setup. We can add this later.
Follow the on-screen prompts and keep moving ahead.
Hit “Done” to finish the setup wizard.
We successfully landed on the Moto G Pure home screen thus bypassing the Google account verification.
