On LG Aristo 5, the Google verification screen also known as FRP (Factory Reset Protection), comes into effect after doing a hard reset using the volume down and power button.
In this post, we are going to bypass the Google lock screen in a few minutes without using a computer or app.
After doing a hard reset on my LG Aristo 5, I’m on the Welcome screen of the setup wizard.
Let’s proceed further using the forward arrow.
We’ve to select the “New second screen”, with or without a notch.
To proceed further, we need to connect our phone to the internet.
My Aristo 5 is connected to the “Home Wifi” network.
I’ve skipped the “Copy apps and data” page by hitting “Don’t copy”.
This brings me to the Password verification page.
As I don’t remember my lock screen password, I’m going to use the 2nd option i.e. “USE MY GOOGLE ACCOUNT INSTEAD”.
We are now on the Google Verification Screen. It’s asking for the last-synced Google account on this device.
In the next few steps, we are going to use a hack to get past this Google lock screen. So, Let’s get going –
How to bypass google verification on LG Aristo 5 lmk500 – Metro, T-Mobile, Sprint
This method should work on most of the LG devices running on Android 10 such as LG Stylo 6, Phoenix 5, Risio 4, Fortune 3, K31, K51, Reflect, etc.
On the Google Verification page, tap the “Email or Phone” field as marked in the above screenshot.
This brings out the phone keyboard.
Look for the “Keyboard icon” at the bottom right corner and tap on it.
A “Default keyboard” window shows up on the screen.
Tap “Settings” to open the keyboard settings page.
We are now on the “Manage keyboards” page.
Select the first keyboard i.e. “Gboard”.
On the Gboard Settings page, Hit the “3 dots” icon on the top-left and select “Help & feedback” as shown above.
This takes us to the “Support” page.
In the “Describe your Issue” search bar, type delete
Select the first search result, “Delete or disable apps on Android”.
On the next page, look for “Tap to go to Application Settings” and select this option.
This directly takes us to the “App info” page. We are now in the Settings app.
Scroll down and open the “Google” app info page.
Tap “Open” on the Google App info page.
This takes us to the Google app. Hit “NO THANKS” to get access to the Google search bar.
Type “Settings” in the search bar field and select the “Settings app” as visible in the above screenshot.
We are now on the front page of the “Settings app”.
Select “Fingerprints” and hit “NEXT”.
On this page, we are going to set a screen lock. It can be a Pattern, PIN, or Password.
This new lock will replace the old screen lock.
I’m setting up and easy to remember PIN lock 1234
Confirm the PIN and tap “OK”.
A text flashes at the bottom of the screen “Screen lock has been changed”.
This new screen lock has replaced the old screen lock.
Now, we have to use the back button to go back to the first page of the setup wizard i.e. the “Welcome” page.
Keep going back until you’re on the Welcome page.
Now, we are on the first page of the setup wizard.
Use the forward arrow to move ahead.
Hit “Next” on the “New Second Screen” page.
Tap “Don’t copy” on the “Copy apps & data” page.
At this stage, it asks to verify the PIN.
We’ve to use the same PIN we added in the previous step i.e. 1234
This step takes us to the Google sign-in page.
As we entered the correct screen lock PIN, we get the option to skip Google sign-in.
At this stage, you can also sign in using any Google account (not necessarily the last synced account).
Hit “Skip” to move ahead. We can add a Google account later.
Keep following the on-screen prompts to proceed further.
Accept “Google services terms and conditions”.
We are now on the “Review additional apps” page.
Hit “OK” to move further.
The last page of the setup wizard is the “Legal documents” page.
Tick the “I agree” check box and hit “DONE”.
We’ve successfully landed on the LG Aristo 5 home screen thus bypassing the Google FRP lock.
