UMX U696CL FRP Bypass Google Unlock 2022 Android 11

UMX Unimax U696CL is an entry-level budget android smartphone that comes with Android 11 Go out of the box.

On U696CL the need for Google account verification arises when you hard factory reset the device using the volume up & power button. After the reset, you cannot complete the device setup until you verify with the lock screen PIN/Pattern/Password or the previously synced Google account.

In this post, we are going to use the latest 2022 trick to bypass the FRP lock on UMX U696CL Android 11 without a computer as follows –

I was locked out due to the forgotten password. To bypass the UMX U696CL lock screen I did a factory data reset via Recovery Mode.

After the reset, it brings me to the “Hi There” screen as shown above.

Let’s hit the “START” button to begin the setup.

In the next step, we are going to connect our device to the internet.

My phone is connected to a Wifi network and it’s getting ready. Let’s wait for a while.

The next page is “Connect to Wifi”. Choose “Don’t copy” to move ahead.

Now, I’m stuck on the “Verify password” screen.

To move ahead we either need the lock screen PIN/Pattern/Password or the previously synced Google account.

I do not remember either of the two.

Let’s use the latest 2022 method to bypass the FRP lock on UMX U696CL Android 11 as follows –

How to bypass Google account verification/FRP lock on UMX Unimax U696CL Android 11 without computer 2022 – New Talkback Method

First of all, go back to the “START” screen with the back button as shown above.

We are now on the “Hi There” screen.

Click on “Vision Settings” as shown above.

Then choose the last option i.e. “Talkback”.

Hit the “Use Talkback” button to enable talkback. Then, click “ALLOW”.

Talkback is now turned on.

Draw an opposite L on the screen as shown above. Swipe right then up.

A pop-up request appears – “Allow Android Accessibility Suite to record audio?”. Double-click on “WHILE USING THIS APP”.

A new window appears – “Use voice commands to control Talkback”.  Double-tap “Use voice commands”.

Say the voice command – “Google Assistant”.

This will launch the Assistant app.

Double-tap the “3 bar icon” at the bottom-right corner to reach the “Tips for you” page.

At this stage, we can turn off Talkback.

Press and hold both volume keys for 3 seconds.

Repeat the step. Again press and hold both the volume buttons to turn off the talkback.

Click the “3 bar icon” to reach the “Tips for you” page.

Now, select the last option – “Explore more from Assistant”.

On the “Explore” page, hit the “profile picture icon” on the top.

When the dropdown appears, choose the last option – “Help”.

This brings me to the “Support” page.

Hit the search bar and type delete.

Pick the search result – “Delete, disable & manage unused apps on Android”.

On the following screen, look for the link – “Tap to go to Application Settings” and click on it.

This will bring you to the “App Info” screen.

Scroll down and pick “Settings”.

Hit “OPEN” to reach the Settings app.

Now, Go to “Apps” > “VIEW ALL 40 APPS”.

We are now on the “App Info” screen.

Open the “Android Setup” app and hit the “FORCE STOP” button.

Now, go one step back.

Open “Google Play Services” and click the “DISABLE” option.

After turning off the 2 apps, go 2 steps back.

Hit the back key 2 times to reach the Settings page.

Now, open “Accessibility” > “Accessibility Menu”.

Enable the accessibility menu shortcut as shown above.

The shortcut is created. We will use it later.

Now, hit the back button multiple times to reach the “START” screen.

We are again on the “Hi There” page.

Click the accessibility menu shortcut and choose “ASSISTANT”.

It fails to open Assistant and shows an error – “Google Play Services Required”.

Hit “Settings” to move ahead.

Tap the “ENABLE” button to turn on the Google Play Services app.

Then go back to the “START” page.

Click “START” to move ahead.

When you land on the “Copy apps & data” screen, you need to click the back button once.

This will bring you to the “Connect to Wifi” page.

Now, click on “Set up offline” then “CONTINUE”.

We have bypassed the Google account verification on UMX U696CL.

Now, hit the “Accept” button on the “Google Services” screen.

Skip the screen lock set up in the next step.

Follow the on-screen prompts and keep moving ahead to complete the setup wizard.

We have successfully landed on the UMX U696CL home screen thus bypassing the Google lock.
