By now we have 4 Motorola G Power devices in the USA. As the name suggests this series offers a higher capacity battery than its counterparts.
The first Power device, Motorola G7 Power came in 2019 with model number XT1955. Then came Moto G Power 2020 XT2041, Moto G Power 2021 XT2117, and the latest Moto G Power 2022 XT2165.
All the Moto Power devices are now running on Android 10 or 11. In this post, we are going to use a common method to bypass the Google account verification on all Motorola Android 10 & 11 devices as follows –
To bypass the Moto G power lock screen password, I had to hard reset the device via recovery mode.
Now, the reset is done & it brings me to the “Hi There” screen.
Let’s hit “START” to begin the device setup.
Then connect your phone to a Wifi network in the next step.
After checking for updates, it takes me to the “Copy apps & data” page. To proceed further, click”Don’t copy”.
This time we are on the “Verify Password” screen. I do not remember the lock screen password. The 2nd option is “Use my Google account instead”.
I do not remember the Google account as well. Let’s use the latest 2022 hack to bypass the FRP lock on all the Motorola G Power Android 10 & 11 devices as follows –
How to bypass Google account verification/FRP lock on Motorola G Power 2021 2022 Android 11 10 without a computer XT2165, XT2117, XT2043, XT1955 – MetroPCS, Tracfone, Boost Mobile, Cricket, AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Straight Talk
To bypass the Google verification, move back from the “Verify your account” screen to the first page.
Now, hit the “Emergency Call” button.
On the top of the phone dialer, you’ll see “EMERGENCY INFORMATION”. Click on it 2 times.
Now, hit the “pencil edit icon” located at the top-right corner.
On the next page, hit the first option – “Name – Owner”, then click the “profile picture icon”.
A dropdown appears with 2 options. Pick the lower one i.e. “Choose an image”.
Now, it brings me to the “Recent” screen. Tap the “3 bar icon” on the top.
Long press on “Drive” to reach the “App Info” screen.
Now, click on “Permissions”.
The next page is “App Permissions”. Click the search button on the top and type settings in the search box.
Scroll down to the bottom and look for “Settings – App Info”. Then click on it.
On the following page, hit “OPEN” to launch the Settings app.
In Settings, Go to “Apps & notifications” > “App Info”.
We are now on the “App Info” page.
Open “Android Setup” and hit the “FORCE STOP” option.
Now, go one step back to the previous page.
This time open “Google Play Services” and click the “Disable” option.
After stopping the 2 apps, go 2 steps back to reach the Settings page.
Now, open “Accessibility” > “Accessibility Menu”.
Turn on the Accessibility Menu Shortcut and tap “Allow” when prompted.
On some Moto G Power phones, you need to use the 2 finger swipe-up gesture to launch the Accessibility menu.
On others, a shortcut button is created. It is located at the bottom-right corner.
After enabling the accessibility menu shortcut, go all the way back to the first page.
We are again on the “Hi There” screen.
Launch the accessibility menu with the shortcut button or by swiping up the screen with 2 fingers.
When the menu opens, click on “Assistant”.
It fails to open Google Assistant and shows an error – “Google Play Services Required”.
Hit “Settings” to proceed further. Now, hit the “Enable” button.
After turning on Google Play Services, go back to the “START” screen.
Click “START” to move ahead.
When you reach the “Getting your phone ready” or “Copy apps & data” screen, hit the back button once.
This way we reach the “Connect to Wifi” page.
There is a new skip option at the bottom-left corner. Click on it.
Now, hit “Continue” to proceed further.
We have bypassed the Google account verification. Accept the Google Services terms and conditions.
Now, skip the screen lock setup.
Follow the on-screen prompts and keep moving ahead.
We have to go through the gesture navigation guide.
Keep hitting “Next” to proceed further.
Finally, use the swipe-up gesture to reach the home screen as shown above.
We have successfully bypassed the Google account verification on Motorola G power. This method works on all the Motorola G Power Android 10 & 11 devices.
