Motorola E6 is currently running on Android 9 Pie. On Android 9 phones many users face the youtube update error during Google bypass.
In this post, we are going to learn how to fix the youtube update error and bypass the FRP lock on Moto E6 to reach the home screen.
So, let’s begin the troubleshooting –

I did a hard reset on my Moto E6 to bypass the lock screen because I forgot the lock screen password.
After the reset, I reached the “Hi There” screen of the setup wizard.
Let’s tap the START button to set up the device.
In the next step, I’m going to connect my device to a Wi-FI network.
After a few minutes, I reached the “Copy apps & data” screen.
Let’s choose the “Don’t copy” option to move ahead.
Now, I’ve reached the password verification page. I don’t remember the lock screen password. The 2nd option is “USE MY GOOGLE ACCOUNT INSTEAD”.
I do not remember the previously synced Google account as well. Let’s use the latest 2022 method to bypass the Google verification on Moto E6.
Use the back button to go back to the first page.
We are once again on the “Hi There” screen.
Tap “ENGLISH(UNITED STATES)” to change the language.
Scroll down to the bottom and choose the Chinese language.
Now, pick the first option on the next screen.
Click the “START” button to proceed further.
Hit the “Skip” button on the next page.
Now, we have reached the “Copy apps & data” screen.
Tap the back button once.
It brings me to the “Connect to Wifi” page.
Pick the last option to “See all Wifi networks”.
Now hit the + option to add a Wifi network.
When the keyboard appears, long-press the “Gboard icon” as marked in the above screenshot.
Choose the last option on the pop-up window as shown above.
Now, tap the bar at the bottom of the screen.
On the next page choose an option with the forward button >.
Now, click the “3 dots icon” and select the lower option – “Help & feedback”.
This time we are on the Support page. Hit the search bar and when the keyboard shows up, tap the “Gboard icon” to change the keyboard language to English.
Now, search the term morse.
Pick the first search result and tap on the youtube video.
Now, click the “3 dots” icon and tap the share button.
Click on the youtube link to launch the Youtube app.
I’m stuck on the youtube update screen.
This youtube update screen only shows up if during the FRP bypass process you go back to the previous page or reboot the phone.
If you’ll complete the whole process in one go the Youtube update error won’t occur.
To fix this issue we need to hard reset the device via recovery mode.
Let’s power off the Moto E6 to enter recovery mode. Long-press the power button and choose the power off option as shown above.
Once the phone is off, press and hold the volume down + power button until you reach the black screen with the android robot.
Now, use the volume rocker to switch from “START” to “RECOVERY MODE”.
This will bring you to the “No command” screen.
To bypass this screen –
Press and hold the power button. Keep it pressed and tap the volume up button once.
Release both the keys once you reach the “Android Recovery” page.
Use the volume button to move from “Reboot System Now” to “Wipe data/factory reset”.
Now, go to “User data only” with the volume down key and then hit the power button to reset your device.
After the data wipe, click the power button to reboot your phone.
The factory data reset will take a few minutes and then you’ll reach the “Hi There” screen of the setup wizard.
