Moto E6 Screen Lock Bypass XT2005DL Forgot Password, PIN

Are you stuck on the Motorola E6 lock screen and you don’t remember the lock screen password, PIN, or Pattern? Don’t worry you’re not alone.

To bypass the Moto E6 lock screen you need to hard reset the device via recovery mode. You also need to verify with the previously synced Google account to reach the home screen.

In this post, we are going to use the latest 2022 method to bypass the Motorola E6 lock screen as well as Google account verification without using a computer. So, let’s begin the troubleshooting –

You can see I’m stuck on the lock screen on my Moto E6. I don’t remember the correct password.

Let’s put our Motorola E6 into recovery mode to perform a factory data reset.

Press and hold the volume down + power buttons until you reach the black recovery mode screen.

Use the volume rocker to switch from “START” to “RECOVERY MODE”.




The phone is now stuck on the “No command” screen.

To skip this screen –

Press and hold the power button. Keep the power key pressed and tap the volume up key once.

Release both the keys as soon as you reach the “Android Recovery” screen.


In recovery mode, we need to use the volume rocker and power keys.

Use the volume down key to move from “Reboot system now” to “Wipe data/factory reset”.

On the Factory reset screen, either choose – “Userdata only” or “Userdata + personalized content”. Now press the power button to reset your device.

Again hit the power button to reboot your phone.

The hard reset process takes a few minutes.

After the reset, it brings me to the “Hi There” screen.

Click the “START” button to move ahead.




Now, connect your Moto E6 to a Wifi network.

After checking for updates we reach the “Copy apps & data” page.



Tap “Don’t copy” to proceed.

Now, it brings me to the screen lock password verification page. I either need the correct password or the previously synced Google account to proceed further.

I don’t remember either of the two.


Let’s use the latest 2022 method to bypass the FRP lock on Motorola E6 running on Android 9 without using a computer –

We are stuck on – “Google – Verify your Account” screen.

Use the back button to reach the first page.


We have reached the “Hi There” screen.

Tap “ENGLISH (UNITED STATES)” to change the language.

Scroll down and choose the last language.

After changing to the Chinese language hit the “START” button to move ahead.


On the next page hit the “Skip” option on the left.



The following screen is “Copy apps and data”.

Hit the back button once to reach the “Connect to Wifi” screen.



Now, choose the last option to see all wifi networks.

Click the + button to add a new Wifi network.


This brings out the keyboard.

On the keyboard, long-press the “browser icon” as marked in the above screenshot.

When the pop-up appears, hit the last option. Please refer to the above screenshot.


On the following screen, hit the bar at the bottom.

Now, choose an option with > arrow as shown above.



Now, hit the “3 dots” icon and choose the lower option to reach the help and feedback page.



Click the search bar. When the keyboard appears, tap the browser icon to change the language to English.

Enter the term morse in the search bar.


Select the first search result.

Now, tap the youtube video. Hit the “3 dots” icon and click the share icon.



Hit the youtube link to launch the Youtube app.


Setup the chrome app.  Please refer to the above screenshots.



In the Chrome address bar enter the URL



Use the link “Open Settings app” to launch the Settings app.

In Settings, scroll down and pick the last option.



Now, select the 2nd option with “Gboard”.

On the following screen select the first option as shown above.


Now, hit the + icon to add a new language.

Select the “English” language from the dropdown.



Make “English” the preferred language by swiping it up to the first position.


Now, go back to the EFRP page with the back button.



On the easy firmware page, tap on the “Google Account Manager 9.apk” file.

Hit “Continue” to move ahead.


Click “ALLOW” when prompted.

Hit “OK” to save the apk file.


Now, tap “Open” to install this app.

When the “Chrome” pop-up appears, hit “SETTINGS”.


Now, enable the option – “Allow from this source”.



Hit “INSTALL” and then “DONE” as shown above.



Now, install the “FRP Bypass.apk” file.

Click “Allow” when prompted.

Open the file once it’s downloaded,



Hit “INSTALL” and then “OPEN” as shown above.



Now, tap the “3 dots” icon and select “Browser sign-in”.



It brings me to the Google sign-in page.

Sign in with any of your Google accounts.



After signing in tap the address bar and enter the URL



To continue to “Find my device” we again need to sign in to the Google account.

Again sign in with the same Google account.



Save the password when prompted.



It takes some time to contact the Moto E6 device and then the device gets online.

Keep trying until you see the device is online. It may show the error – “No active devices”. If this happens again enter the URL and sign in to your Google account. You’ll succeed in a few tries.



When the device is online, select “SECURE DEVICE” and again sign in to your Google account.


It allows us to add a new password.

Let’s add an easy to remember PIN code 1234




Enter the code twice and hit “NEXT”.

Tap “OK” to set this password.


Now, click on “SECURE DEVICE”.

The screen now turns off. Turn it on with the power button.

Unlock the screen with the PIN code we just added i.e. 1234

Now, tap the address bar and enter the URL

We are once again on the easy firmware page.

Click on “Open Settings App”.

Scroll down and select “Accounts”.





Tap the Google account we added a few steps ago.

Now, click on “REMOVE ACCOUNT” as shown above.



Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your action.

Enter the PIN code 1234 when prompted.


Now, tap the back button multiple times to reach the first page of the setup wizard.



We have reached the “Hi There” screen.

Click the “START” button to proceed.



Tap “Don’t copy” on the “Copy apps & data” screen.

Now, we are on the “Verify PIN” screen.

Enter the PIN code 1234



We have successfully bypassed the Google account on Moto E6 without a computer.

Use the “Skip” option to proceed further.


Accept the Google services terms and conditions.



Follow the on-screen prompts and keep moving ahead.




We have successfully landed on the Motorola E6 home screen thus bypassing the screen lock.
