Moto G Stylus Android 11 Lock Screen Bypass/Forgot Password, PIN,Pattern

The recent versions of Moto G Stylus are XT2115 5G & XT2043. The 5G variant comes with Android 11 out of the box. The older model XT2043 is now updated to Android 11.

On either of the 2 models, we get 5 types of screen locks. The secondary locks are Fingerprint & Face Recognition. The primary ones are PIN, Pattern, & Password.

The secondary lock is always backed up with a PIN, Pattern, or Password. However, what to do if you forgot the primary screen lock.

In this post, we are going to learn how to bypass the lock screen on Moto G Stylus running on Android 11  as follows –

How t0 bypass the lock screen on Moto G Stylus Android 11 / Forgot Password, PIN, Pattern / Locked Out

I got stuck on my Moto G Stylus lock screen. I don’t remember the lock screen password.

To get past this screen we need to hard reset the phone via the Recovery Mode.

To put our phone into Recovery Mode, we need to power it off.

Long-press the power button and choose “Power off” as shown above.

Once the phone is off, press and hold the volume down + power key.

This brings us to the android logo page with a black background.

There is a “START” option on the screen.

Use the volume rocker and move from “START” to “RECOVERY MODE”.

When the “RECOVERY MODE” appears on the screen, press the power key once.

Now, we are on the “No command” page.

To reach the recovery mode –

  • Press & hold the power button.
  • Keep holding the power key & tap the volume up key once.
  • Release both the keys once you reach the “Android Recovery” screen.

In Android Recovery, we need to use the volume rocker & power keys.

Move down from “Reboot System Now” to “Wipe data/factory reset” with the volume down button. Now, press the power key once.

Again move down from “Cancel” to “Factory data reset” and press the Power button once.

This action will wipe the internal storage data. Press the Power key one more time to reboot the phone.

The Factory reset process will take a while.

After the hard reset, we are on the first screen of the setup wizard.

Hit “START” to proceed further.

Now, connect your phone to the internet using Wifi or Mobile data.

Our phone is getting ready. Let’s wait for a while.

Click “Don’t copy” when you reach the “Copy apps & data” page.

It brings us to the screen lock verification page. I don’t remember the lock screen password. I’ll choose the alternate option – “Use my Google account instead”.

Now, we have reached the Google verification page. It’s asking for the previously synced Google account.

Enter your Google account credentials and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the setup wizard.

If you don’t remember your Google sign-in details then follow the below hack to bypass the FRP lock  –
