LG Q70 is a mid-range phone from Verizon with Android 10 out of the box.
On Q70 the factory reset protection comes into effect when you factory reset the phone using the volume down & power keys. After the reset, during the device setup, you need to enter the Google account details of the previously synced account.
In this post, we are going to use the latest and easiest method to bypass the FRP lock on LG Q70 without using a computer. So let’s get going –
After doing a hard reset on my LG Q70 I’m on the first screen of the setup wizard.
Let’s proceed to complete the device setup.
Click “Next” on the “New Second Screen”.
To proceed further, we need to connect to a Wifi network.
The phone stays on the Checking for updates screen for a while.
Click “Don’t copy” when you reach the “Copy apps & data” page.
Now, it brings me to the screen lock verification page. I don’t remember the lock screen password. I clicked another option “USE MY GOOGLE ACCOUNT INSTEAD”.
This time we are on the Google account verification screen. Let’s use the latest hack to bypass the FRP lock on LG Q70 as follows –
How to bypass Google Account Verification on LG Q70 Verizon lm-q620 without computer
We need the keyboard to bypass the google account.
Tap the blank space – “Email or phone” to pull out the keyboard.
Now, hit the small keyboard icon at the bottom-right corner.
A Default keyboard window appears on the screen. Click “Settings” to proceed further.
Now, we are on the “Manage keyboards” screen.
Select the first keyboard i.e. Gboard.
On the Gboard settings screen, tap the 3 dots icon and choose “Help & feedback”.
This will bring you to the Support page.
Select the first option – Delete or disable apps on Android.
On the following screen click on the link – “Tap to go to application settings”.
This brings us to the App Info page. Scroll down and click “Settings”.
When you reach the “Settings-App Info” screen, hit “Open” to launch the Settings app.
Now, go to “Fingerprints” > “Next” as shown above.
This brings us to the “Select Screen Lock” page.
We can use it to add a new PIN, Pattern, or Password.
I’m adding 1234 as the new screen lock PIN.
Enter the PIN twice and click OK.
The screen lock has been changed. Let’s use this new PIN to bypass the Google verification.
Go back to the first page of the setup wizard.
Keep going back using the back button.
We are on the first page of the setup wizard.
Hit “Next” to proceed further.
When you reach the “Copy apps & data” screen choose “Don’t copy”.
This directly brings me to the “Verify your account” page. The PIN verification page is missing. We need that screen to bypass the google verification.
To restore that page, we need to hard reset the phone using volume down & power keys.
Power off your LG Q70 to enter recovery mode.
Long press the power button and tap POWER OFF as shown above.
Once the phone is off, press the volume down + power button to boot the phone.
When the LG Q70 logo appears on the screen, release the power key for a moment and hold it again. Do not leave the volume down button.
Now, keep holding both the keys to enter recovery mode.
In the recovery, mode the touchscreen doesn’t work. We are going to use the volume rocker and power keys for navigation & selection.
Go down from No(Exit) to Yes with the volume key. No, press the power key once.
Again move down from No to Yes and click the power key to reset your Q70.
After the reset, we are once again on the first screen of the setup wizard.
Hit “Next” to proceed further.
Connect your Q70 to a Wifi network.
Click “Don’t copy” on the “Copy apps & data” screen.
This time we get the PIN verification page.
Verify with the PIN 1234 as shown above.
The PIN verification was successful.
Use the “Skip” option to bypass the Google account sign-in.
Now, accept the Google services terms and conditions.
Click “OK” on the “Review Additional Apps” screen.
Finally, we are on the last screen of the setup wizard.
Tick the “I agree” checkboxes and click “Done” to complete the setup wizard.
We have successfully landed on the LG Q70 home screen thus bypassing the Google account verification.
