The Screen recorder by kimcy929 is without ads but the pause function was not working without making the magic button visible.
The DU Screen recorder was unable to stop recording with a shake. This feature was a hit and miss. However, the recording can be stopped by turning off the screen. The recording cannot be paused in DU screen recorder.
Mobizen is also functional but the pop-up ads are quite annoying. The recording has to be stopped by turning off the screen as there is no magic button to pause or stop the recording.

How can one ‘screen-record’ the flashing/installation of a Custom ROM while in ‘Recovery Mode’ eg TWRP?
