There are 2 ways to update the LG Aristo 5 firmware. The easier and preferable way is via OTA (over the air) update. We need to use the update center to keep the software update.
The other way is more complicated and can help you’re restoring your phone when stuck in a boot loop, bricked, stuck on the LG logo, etc. In this method, we flash a stock firmware via the LGUP flash tool in the Download Mode.
Let’s check out both ways to keep the software updated on our LG Aristo 5 Metro, T-Mobile, Sprint lmk300 –

To update the LG Aristo 5 software, we need to open the Settings app.
Scroll down and select the 2nd last option i.e. “System”.
Now, choose the first option “Update center”.
Hit “System Update” on the Update center page.
The system update is downloaded automatically on an unmetered Wi-Fi connection.
We can even pause the update if needed.
Once the system update is downloaded, hit “Restart now” to begin the installation.
Do not touch the phone until the update is installed. The phone will reboot during the installation.
