Right-Click the “SetUser” file and select “Run as administrator”
Now, click on the “LGUPU” file. It would load the LGUP flashing tool.
I’m flashing my LG Aristo 2 LM-X210MA. You can see the current firmware version is visible in LGUP it’s X210MA20i
Based on the phone you’ve connected the information will change. However, the procedure would remain the same.
Now we’ve to load the kdz firmware file for flashing. So, tap below the “File Path” as marked in the screenshot above.
A “3 dots” icon would appear. Tap on it to browse for the downloaded kdz file.
Open the folder where you’ve extracted the kdz file and select it to load in LGUP.
I’m flashing LG Aristo 2 so I’m loading the respective kdz file. Make sure to download the correct firmware file. The download links are at the beginning of this post. You can download the stock ROM for LG Aristo 2, Aristo 2 Plus, Aristo 3 & Aristo 3 Plus. The procedure would remain the same only the kdz file would change based on the respective model.
You can see the firmware file is loaded in LGUP. It’s “X210MA20g_00_MPCS_US_OP_0418.kdz”
Now, change the Process from “REFURBISH” to “UPGRADE”, as visible in the screenshot above and tap “Start” to initiate the flashing process.
You can see the progress on the phone screen as well as on the computer screen.
Do not disturb the USB cable or phone until the process is complete.
At around 78% Progress the phone would reboot. Wait for the progress to touch the 100% mark.
The flashing process has completed successfully.
