On my Cricket Ovation 2, I was locked out due to the forgotten password. To bypass the Ovation 2 lock screen, I did a factory reset using the volume up & power button.
Now, the hard reset is complete and I’ve reached the “START” screen of the setup wizard.
Hit “START” to begin the device setup.
Then connect your device to a Wifi network.
The phone is now connected to the internet & it’s getting ready. This process takes a few minutes.
Afterward, it brings me to the “Copy apps & data” screen. Click “Don’t copy” to proceed further.
The next screen is “Verify Password”. To get past this stage, I either need the lock screen password or the previously synced Google account.
But, I do not remember either of the two.
