LG Fortune 3 Move Apps to SD card – Cricket lmk300am

As the name suggests, Fortune 3 is the 3rd iteration in the Cricket LG Fortune series. It’s a bare basic Smartphone running on Android 10.

It comes with only 16GB of internal storage space. The System memory & pre-installed apps occupy half the storage space. Only around 7 GB is left as actual usable memory.

We can expand the Fortune 3 storage with a micro SD card, but the apps & games still install in the internal memory.

To fix this issue, we can use the Adoptable storage feature on LG Fortune 3. It allows us to format the SD card as internal storage and makes it the default storage for apps & games.

Let’s find out how to move apps to SD card on LG Fortune 3 with the help of the below video & screenshots –

Before moving apps to SD card, please make sure to –

  • Backup your internal storage data
  • Use a high-speed memory card. At least a Class 10 Micro SD card should be used.
  • Don’t remove the SD card after partitioning as internal storage. Else you would face app close errors.

First of all, let’s install the micro SD card on our LG Fortune 3.

Use a SIM ejector PIN to pull out the SIM tray as shown above.

LG Fortune 3 is a budget offering from Cricket running on Android 10 software. On most of the current day LG Android 10 smartphones, the navigation bar with the home touch buttons is missing. The default mode of navigation is using gestures just like an iPhone.

The good thing is we can easily restore our old navigation bar with the Home, Back and Recent apps button. Let’s see how to get back the home touch buttons in a few steps –
